unnatural disaster.

i don't like to get too political on my little blog here, but today while doing a little reading, i came across this article. i haven't completey digested each nuance of what the writer is saying, but i caught myself nodding in agreement an awful lot while i was reading through it. i kind of felt like it needed the kathleen-ism i love best as a pull quote, "i am so sorry...that there are consequences for my actions!!"

I understand that the current administration and Congress must assume some responsibility for the current economy, however, I feel as if this guy doesn't fully understand that the economy doesn't work in real-time (a common misunderstanding). We don't feel the effects of decisions made yesterday, last week, or even last year. What many people forget is that the economy reflects much of the fiscal policy of the previous president (and Congress). I think the media should hold off on judgments just yet. :)
