everyone's favorite time of day.
so, you may remember that my roommate moved out and the hardships i have thus far endured as a result.
another thing that happened when she moved out? all the decorations moved out too. i wasn't too heartbroken to lose most of them because they weren't really my flava. but now, my house is
empty.
boring.
sterile.
white.
looks like boys live here. <-- but don't worry. when i said this to a guy the other day he said, "no, i have more stuff than this at my house." thanks!

anyway, i've been able to spread a thin layer of my belongings throughout the place and it's not great but it looks like someone lives here.
i just have this one empty wall in my living room and i want some cool art for it. the catch? fill the wall with an awesome painting with the $50 i have left of my christmas money.
that's not realistic, is it?
i love both of these walls here...i need to copy one.

Get a bunch of frames from DI, paint them black or red or what have you, and maybe just hand them completely empty (at least til you can find/afford art for them). Not the best solution, but it fills up space!
maybe I can paint something for you.
I really like the frames...you could probably find some basic ones fairly cheap. I dont know if you have a Hobby Lobby, but theirs are usually half off. You could use some of your own photos to fill them.
i forgot about that frames idea...i have always wanted to do that.
i think i found some paintings i can copy though. stay tuned; i'll probably blog about them (if they turn out well).
I think you could very easily make something fabulous.
You could find some cool frames for cheap and spray paint them the same color.
I think there is lots of cool wrapping paper that you could make a collage out of.
I wish there was a good way to explain it to sound cool. It sounds lame when I type it.
Sorry.
Old calendar pics would work in that frame idea. Or go to the local starving artist sale (not sure when the next one is) Though a lot of it is tacky (I think it's mostly old women painting for those things) you can find a rare gem. Just go early. They get picked over pretty quickly. They have them in Provo and SLC.
