someone (me) once said that mono is the mother of boredom, and boredom is the mother of blogging.
a year ago when i had no energy and all my friends were treating me like i was a leper, i made a commitment to my little blog here, just to see what happened and to have a chill pastime. i've ended up truly loving it. i've always loved to write. i find that when i'm having drama or trying to make a decision, thinking about it alone just makes me more confused. but when i put pen to paper, or finger to keyboard, as the case may be, i can usually figure things out.
not that i've subjected my blog to all my personal problems (you're welcome!), but blogging has helped me learn about myself and keep a little bit of a journal of my daily mundane life and viewpoints of some issues. i try to keep it light around here, and not get too personal.
the blog has been my own oasis of levity, and i think it will continue to be that for me and for anyone who happens to drop by. life is stressful. we all need a little escape now and then.
thanks for reading, and be sure to come back...cuz child, 22,000 hits in, we just gettin started.

You're the one who got me started, so maybe, aside from thanking you, I should thank your mono.
