Summer nights (I know). I’m probably the only one. Anyone with me sharing the love for summer nights?
Last night in my neighborhood was a perfect one.
It was the kind of night where you wave your hand out the car window as you drive and you can’t tell if the air is cool or warm.
The kind of night with a sky so clear that the stars actual twinkle.
The kind of night that keeps the grass cool and the pavement warm and you’re content to sit on your front stoop for hours.
The kind of night that makes the heat of the day actually worth it.
Just perfect.
I need to remind myself to enjoy these August nights while I can.
