i’ve been following my local abc affiliate on twitter for newsiness and stuff, and let me just tell you what they do.
they put out teaser tweets with stuff like, “snow is in the forecast & not just for the mountains. tune in to see when you can plan for much colder weather coming to slc.”
as if i simply must watch the newscast to get that kind of info.
it’s called google. or maybe the iphone for you schmancy people with “an app for that.”
abc4, if you know about the magic of the internet, which i’m guessing you do since you are using twitter, which is powered by the internet, then it seems like you would realize that people can harness that power on their own and use it to find exactly what’s going on with the weather on their own time.
