today while i was trying on cute headbands at the gap ($4, marked down from $12.99 - get yours today!), i saw something so brilliantly sparkly on my head that i thought for sure i had glitter in my hair. don't worry; it was just a gray. i hadn't been attacked by the herpes of craft supplies, i was just showing my age. well, what my age will be in 15 years. gray hair in my mid twenties...not something i really aspired to. but you know. trying to own it. and then i started thinking, "wait...can people with gray hair wear headbands? am i disrupting the natural order by participating in such a youthful trend? or must i continue to throw caution and propriety to the wind, wearing headbands as i laugh in the face of my prematurely gray hair?" you know, for gray-haired 25-year-olds everywhere? i'm still really not sure. i must say i'm quite confused.

No worries! I have a few gray hair too. It's just proof that we're wise. :)
I've had Anderson Cooper style whites before. Just rock it.
I also have gray hairs and thought I was the only one. After talking to some other friends I found that almost all of them had gray hair in their twenties and one friend of mine has to dye her hair because she has SO much gray. I would have never guessed. Keep rocking the headband. Pigtails are something that cannot be worn by people with gray hair or over 35...which ever comes first. :)

I have so many, I blind myself under the florescent lights in public bathrooms.
Still, I'm just letting them infest my head.
This is also one of those times I'm glad to be a guy and don't have to deal with the headband quandary.

Be happy you can wear a headband. Even though I don't have a Mom haircut I was blessed with a really big head....

I have two gray hairs that I didn't have about a year and a half ago. I notice that was about the time I started dating Alan... Coincidence... I think not. Rock the headband. Things are getting a lot more liberal these days, and the villagers might not stone you for such an offense.
