1. I made my first honest-to-goodness batch of chocolate chip cookies in the new Mark and Holly family aqua blue KitchenAid. Currently on the "chill the dough" phase before baking. The mixer worked like a charm, in case there are some out there who still aren't sure that a KitchenAid is worth it.
2. Wedding planning is near complete. As the day approaches, I am terrified of two things:
a. People not showing up for the reception
b. Running out of food at the reception
The good news is, those things are mutually exclusive, so at the most, one of those might happen. Of course I would much rather run out of food and have my dad do a massive 7-11 run for Big Gulps and chocolate Dunford doughnuts, then stand around the chocolate fountain despondently with Mark and our parents, crying soft tears of rejection with memories of the junior class secretary election suddenly fresh on my mind. On the other hand, me, Mark and our parents aren't bad company. Y'all would be missing out on quite a hopping party, where hopping equals violent and party equals BYU/Utah debate.
Mark and I are a split religion family that way.
3. Have you heard this song? I lalalove it! Just hit play and don't pay attention to who it is until it's over, unless you love Eddie Vedder, in which case, wow, Pearl Jam has still got it!

I totally think a kitchen aid is worth it and want one... maybe I will get one.... one day... when I get married.
I want a red Kitchen Aid. And I will for sure see you at your reception, but Big Gulps are just a bonus :)
Unless my daughter has one of her psychotic breakdowns, we have big plans to attend your reception. And I'll even sweeten the deal by not eating if you need a little help easing the food shortage.
Wow! The lyrics to this song are amazing!
I heart Kitchen Aids. In fact, I own two of them. :)
Your reception will not be desolate. Unless your personality has changed remarkably since I last saw you. But, I remember you not sucking. :)
Let me preface this comment with the information that I am not in any way a baker. I despise baking, and I only do it because Alan loves baked goods. That being said, I do not regret investing in a Kitchen Aid. I think mine is great.
