My current status: "All these profile pic themes remind me a lot of spirit week in high school."
The doppelganger one is especially fun/preposterous. It’s nice to see how highly people think of themselves when they feel safe about it because “this is what OTHER people think I look like!” We’ve talked about doppelgangers here on the blog, back when I had brown hair for a season, except to me, a celebrity doppelganger is someone you channel and aspire to, not someone who's your twin. I use the word incorrectly and I'm aware. It's my blog and if you don't like it you can leave (Winter Madness?).
As a blonde, the only doppelganger comment I’ve ever had was Elisabeth Shue circa Adventures in Babysitting. This is when my hair is curly and Farrah-like. The fact that the only celebrity I resemble is far from a fresh face these days doesn’t bug me much. I’ll take Elisabeth.
I’ll tell you who I WISH I looked like though. This gal:

Gotta get in touch with Carrie’s trainer. Do you think it’s Jillian Michaels [DVDs]?
I hope so.
PS – Paige/Tibby, you really do remind me of Amber Tamblen soo much.

I am so, so sick of seeing those doppelganger statuses. You are dead on about it feeling like spirit week on facebook. Is it mean of me to want to shout out to all the stay at home moms and facebook junkies to get a life? Hm, I am mean. Yup, but that is what happens with sleep deprivation.
The only person I've been told I look like is Monica Lewinsky, so for obvious reasons I thought it was best not to participate in spirit week. And I do love me some Carrie! I wish I could look like her too.
Ms Underwood is adorable, BUT so are you!
I had to pause my blog reading for about 3 minutes while I laughed at the picture of Liz Lemon.
That is my favorite episode of all time.
Is it bad that people say my celebrity doppelganger is Woody from Toy Story?
i am going to assume that you are referring to tibby more circa sisterhood of the traveling pants 2 and take that as a compliment.
Um...whats a doppelganger?
I found that "doppleganger" week was just an excuse for people to post a picture of a really attractive singer/actress and then act all humble. "People always tell me that I look like (insert some unreasonably attractive actress/actor) but I just don't see it." *humble giggle*. It annoyed me.
