I SHOULD ask you how to deal with all the coworkers in the office who want the thermostat set to oven temperatures, but instead, here's my question:
If you ask a girl on a date, and then find out it will be on her birthday, what would be an appropriate gift to show your interest, to show you've been listening to her, but not freak her out by getting something over the top? (This is a true story. Thankfully, my gift wasn't too weird because she married me anyway.)

How can I do more than just survive the winter. Is there anything I can do to make the season a little more fun?
