i know my dear domestic becky put a lot of time into coming up with those signature dessert ideas, but today i found this wikihow article via my igoogle page:
how to bake a cake in a mug
that’s right. i saw something about this on someone’s facebook status and i didn’t really buy it, to be honest. but lo and behold, it is a real thing. if it’s on wikipedia, it’s real, y’all. and i might try it.

you do it in the microwave, people. THE MICROWAVE!
nathan even said, “and you could make it for people. just get a lot of mugs.”

I once made a barbie cake and I made the skirt in a bowl, does that count?
wow. you have struck gold.
holly i think this is it! my ideas were just to get you thinking...and YOU WERE THINKING! ahhh. think about all the saucy mugs you could get! i bet you could even get different shaped mugs too! or ones with fun sayings! ahhhh!
I seriously can't wait to try this. I'm also putting this on my Saturday How-To post this week.
If you ever need mugs, I think the few we started with have bred like rabbits in our cupboards, and I'd be willing to share.
awesome. this is my kind of domesticity.
My mom sent me this last week for my birthday and I LOVE it! I am sort of a snobby baker so I initially resisted the idea, but when you don't have a dishwasher the idea of only dirtying a mug is very alluring. They were so great I served them after dinner with our friends and they loved them too!! Hope you like.
