I'm afraid it might be.To the left is a wall with the fridge and floor to ceiling built-ins. Beyond that door that you can barely see is the laundry room, which has a ton of pantry space.
I should also tell you that the rest of the house is very cute.

It is about the size of mine right now but yours is MUCH more attractive :) If the rest of the house makes up for it, I would live with it!
i think it's just fine! small kitchens aren't so bad as long as they're kept clean/uncluttered, ya know?
It's larger than mine currently and it's pretty! I'd take it in a heart beat!
I don't think small kitchens are necessarily bad. You don't have as far to go when you're bustling around in it. I think counter space and pantry space are the most important aspects. For its size, it seems to have decent counter space. If the laundry room has ample pantry space, I think you're set.
My question is what is going on to the right of the picture? Is the counter against a wall with cabinets up top? Is there a pass thru?
If it opens up than it sounds like the kitchen size is just fine, especially for your first house. Honestly, if the counter to the right is a "breakfast" counter than anyone who wants to talk with you while you cook can just belly-up to the bar and you can still feel like you're a part of what's going on.
If it's closed off, than you may feel a little closed in (in which case you can open up/tear down the wall!).
I think it's cute and don't really see it as a huge problem.
Its small, but its doable.... and its cute which is more important.

It's about the same size as my kitchen, but we have no pantry space, so we have food in the coat closet and pots and pans in the baby's room. As long as you have a sizeable pantry, a small kitchen can work.

I think it really depends on how long you guys are planning on staying in the home. Is it a forever home? If so, it is pretty small. Is there room/options to expand the kitchen. To me, the kitchen is one of the most important spaces in the home - that's how I got so fat!
To me the kitchen is so important. You need space to cook and most importantly space to store everything. Lots of cabinets and a big pantry. My dream house would have more storage space than anyone ever puts into a house.
It's a little small, but I love the counter tops and back splash! I would like to know what's going on to the right. It looks like it has great counter space for the size... but does it have enough storage?
Hmmmm.... cute and less to clean. Just keep everyone else out while you are cooking, because they will drive you crazy. I love the window in front of the sink. Wish I had one.
Um... I love this kitchen! I guess it just depends how you use your kitchen. I love that you have that whole side of counter with a bar, right?
The biggest thing for me is cupboard space and if you have enough you are good to go!
