you want it, you got it.

kind of.

in line with the results of the latest skinny poll, i turned off the auto-start on my blog music player. see? i listen!

but there’s one thing. i’m really self-righteous about my music. i’m like a californian. (love you long time, cali readers but you know it’s true.) but instead of prancing about proclaiming how much california is better than well, anywhere else, i parade about evangelizing my music. and let’s be honest, i get compliments about my music pretty regularly so…we’re gonna do something about it.

i’m going to tell you about songs i love now and again and make them the #1 spot on my little playlist to the right. and then i’m going to want your comments.

i would do song of the day but that’s waaaay too much commitment.

i would do song of the week but that’s a little too lazy.

so, stay tuned. i’m mulling it over and taking suggestions.

I dont understand the people from California comment. People from California are only the most kind, sincere, loving, open-minded, compassionate and incredible people in the world. If you aren't sure about how amazing they are you should reference a California Tourism Board commercial, they feature the Arnold S. the Govenator, Teri Hatcher with Mickey Mouse and Clint Eastwood, who is the Mayor of Carmel, California. If this doesn't put it in perspective then maybe think about those Real California Milk commericals with those happy cows that come from California. Those cows are pretty happy.

Just here to be your favorite and most amazing friend from California.

i won't deny it, i voted for turning the player off. but to be fair, you really do have good music. in fact i listened to it the other night while i made cookies...and i quite enjoyed myself! but because i often check blogs at inappropriate times (ie-work when i'm supposed to be working), and i forget to have my speaker on silent, it can be incredibly awkward for my computer to suddenly start blasting josh groban or some other crap that people have on their playlists (again, obviously not your playlist, because you would never put something so foul on it). just a thought...i have found that i enjoy my playlist being organized in alphatbetical order, by artist. true, it may look to some like you never update it, but the faithful will notice. could this comment be any longer? no.

So, I never comment on your blog because it is just easier to walk two cubicles over and tell you what I'm thinking to your face (of course, maybe you'd rather pretend you don't know the tall, skinny nerd boy at work ... but I'm slow to take a hint, so you're probably just going to have to deal with it). :-)

As you already know, I'm a huge ... HUGE fan of your taste in music. I'd enjoy any recommendations you have, but I know it's a major undertaking to try to come up with one every day. I guess what I'm saying is, I'll take as many recommendations as you're willing to give. I'll even try to comment on your selection, even though I'm a comment-phobe.
